Brides urged to 'get creative' with flower arrangements
Flowers are an important part of wedding preparations and brides should not shy away from trying something a little bit different.
This is according to Amira Harris, a Calgary-based wedding planner, who told the Toronto Sun that there are lots of things that brides can do with their flowers.
She highlighted the trend of using a monogram in an arrangement, as well as the use of bright colours rather than pastel shades.
"Vibrant colours contrasted against a pure white wedding dress are a wonderful way of putting a splash of colour into your wedding ceremony," Ms Harris advised.
And for brides who are looking to keep costs down, she advised shopping locally for blooms, as well as choosing flowers that are in season.
Florist Helen Brook told the Huddersfield examiner last week that flowers such as sweet peas, hydrangeas and peonies are among those coming back into fashion among British brides.
