Dark red in colour, with a seductive rich perfume of ripe plums and cherries, it is "complex on the palate with an excellent structure and a long lingering finish" according to our port expert.
Quenby Hall Stilton Quenby Hall have been making cheese as far back as Saxon times, and in the 17th century created a pressed variety of blue cheese which has since become known as Stilton. Freddie de Lisle, the current owner of Quenby, has re-started the production of ‘The King of English Cheeses’ at the birthplace of true Stilton. Quenby Stilton is handmade in the traditional manner using milk from local Leicestershire village herds which is then matured for twelve weeks (and believe us when we say it tastes absolutely fantastic).
